A guide to buying Pokémon raw cards
Check the centering, corners, edges, surface, scratches, dents, and whitening. Compare the texture, colour, font, and holo pattern with an authentic card. A card that looks mint may still fall short of a perfect grade.
Ask for well-lit photos of the front and back, plus a video of the card tilted under light. For a high-value card, match its number and print characteristics with an official reference.
